Grape juice is a drink that is consumed for its nutritional features, since it provides energy and valuable nutrients, especially red grape juice which contains a number of vitamins (vitamin C is the most important) and minerals such as flavonoids (quercetin, myricetin or anthocyanins) beneficial to health.

These scientists have studied the properties of fruit juices and found that red grape juice has the highest and broadest concentration of polyphenols and antioxidants. It is believed that these are beneficial in preventing diseases like cancer and coronary heart disease.
