Plant in Manzanares
This plant is designed to collect grapes from local farmers (organic and conventional) and produce the Sulphited Juice that will be transferred to our plant in Valdepeñas. In Manzanares we also produce natural SO2-Free grape juice.
This plant is equipped, for purposes of collection and processing of grape juices, with the following machinery: two grape reception hoppers of 18 m3, two destemmers, three isothermal draining tanks, two dewiners for draining of the must, four continuous presses, and storage tanks for more than 22 million liters.
For the development of natural grape juice SO2 Free, the plant has:
I. Amicrobiotica filtration plant
II. Cooling Systems
III. Clarification chilled room with a storage capacity of 2 million liters
IV. 4 Chilled rooms equipped with asseptic tanks with a storage capacity totalling 4 million liters
V. Installation for cleaning and disinfection of the entire plant using a CIP system
VI. Installation for the sterilization of aseptic tanks.
All of the above mentioned make it one of the most technologically advanced and modern plants in Europe.
